Mentoring
Give yourself the time and space to reflect with someone who understands the world you work in. Find ways to move forward and achieve your goals.

From time to time, everyone needs to talk things through with someone who’s independent. A mentor can act as a sounding board and critical friend to help you work through any challenges or opportunities ahead of you.
How I help
I specialise in mentoring people in communications, in the music industries, and music/arts for education, wellbeing and social purpose. I have a mentoring qualification with The Professional Development Centre and The Institute of Leadership and Management and I’m an approved mentor with Music Mark. I bring 35 years’ of experience as a communications/marketing practitioner and 25 years’ as a small business owner.
“I found you compassionate, patient, positive and professional. You have an understanding of the opportunities and challenges tutors face. You helped clarify my priorities and gave inspired ideas for marketing. Having you as my mentor and accountability partner motivated me to act. Your abundant big-picture outlook and support have had a strong impact.” Dan Joseph, Music Tutor
“It was great having a forum to sound off about the problems I’m facing, and you were great at letting me do that, but reining me in to stay relatively focussed on the issues at hand. I think you’re super personable – it’s rare that I ease up at all with anyone. However the session had me in a good place, psychologically, you give the impression of sincerity and of caring about what’s being discussed.” Sion Trefor, concert pianist, violinist and percussionist-turned electronica producer and composer for visuals
