Introduction
In this episode, I’m talking with pioneering and award-winning jazz musicians, educators, and producers Janine Irons MBE and Gary Crosby OBE, who together run the music education and development charity Tomorrow’s Warriors.
The organisation provides opportunities to learn and rehearse with other young people supported by professional jazz artists; ensembles and collectives; development programmes; work in schools; and a wide range of performance opportunities. In particular, their work addresses barriers to music and the music industry for young people facing barriers to progression in the music industry – in particular black or/and female musicians
